Help improve search results for an online shopping platform by working from home with Appen on the Caledon project!

This Caledon project involves annotation of online shopping queries using a large inventory of tags related to product features. For example, a query like “Nike shoes black” would receive tags for the brand (Nike), target product (shoes), and black (color).

While the project itself does not require specific knowledge of linguistics, successful candidates often share some or all of the following characteristics for Caledon project:

• prior text annotation experience
• strong attention to detail
• understanding of basic linguistic concepts
• strong reading comprehension skills in English
• ability to review examples and apply rules to novel data

A minimum commitment of 15 hours/week is expected for the duration of the Caledon project. Work is expected to begin in early November and continue for at least 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension for an additional 1-3 months.
