Remotasks Referrals, Honest review of my experience 2020

Remotasks is a photo annotation, tagging, categorization platform which offers remote work from home opportunity and I’ve been referring people to remotasks very actively via this Rater.in. Many of them even started a project also started making money. But there is a strange policy by Remotasks for referrals to get paid, the referred person should make $10 in the first 2 weeks which is nearly impossible. There are very few tasks available on remotasks and the payout is just a few cents per task. You can only see the referrals from the last 2 weeks on your dashboard and the remaining will vanish away even if they earn $10 later.

How much did I earn so far by referring to Remotasks ?

To be honest, 400+ people joined via my referral link and I’ve never received a single cent from any of them since it is nearly impossible for the new member to earn $10 in the first two weeks. The maximum that I’ve seen someone earned in two weeks is $1.56. The problem is that the newly joined remotaskers would mostly spend time completing the training and getting familiar with the platform for the first two week

Remotasks should understand that there is a lot of effort being put up by affiliates in referring people to your platform and the policies are supposed to be beneficial for both sides. We do multichannel marketing like Facebook Ads, email marketing, PPC campaigns other than the organic SEO, and even invest money to bring customers to your website and it is extremely painful to realize all our effort are going in the vain.

I’ve worked with many remote job campaigns are it is the first time that I’m experiencing such a disappointment that I didn’t even get a single cent even though I’ve referred hundreds of people to remotasks. Maybe they will earn well in the future and make $10 for sure, but the efforts of affiliates are ignored.

My Request to Remotasks team about referral policy

I would kindly request the policymakers at remotasks to be generous and kind enough to understand the effort put up by bloggers, content creators, YouTubers, and make revisions to the existing policies.

Why don’t you make it like 10% of the earnings of your referrals up to a maximum of $5? Or even consider removing the 2 weeks constraint?

We all should be able to grow together and I hope there will be an update from your end on this and a small update on the policy can make you too grow bigger. You may get high-quality backlinks from high authority websites which will, in turn, improve your search engine presence and will definitely improve your google rankings.
